“The child is both a hope and a promise for humankind.”

— Maria Montessori

My teaching philosophy is grounded in a deep respect for the child as a capable, curious, and unique individual. I believe that children thrive when they are trusted, supported, and given meaningful opportunities to explore the world around them. My role as a teacher is to guide, observe, and thoughtfully support each child’s learning journey while creating an environment where they feel safe, confident, and inspired.

As a certified Montessori teacher and a qualified mainstream educator, I intentionally combine methods from both educational approaches. From Montessori education, I bring a strong emphasis on independence, hands-on learning, and respect for each child’s natural pace of development. From traditional teaching frameworks, I incorporate structure, clear learning objectives, and systematic progression. This balanced approach allows me to respond to individual learning needs while ensuring consistency and high educational standards.

My experience in British and international schools has further enriched my teaching practice. I have completed the CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, regulated by Ofqual in England, as well as the Read Write Inc. Phonics programme by Ruth Miskin. These qualifications support my work in developing strong foundations in literacy through structured yet engaging and child-friendly methods.

Having worked in diverse international environments, I draw from a wide range of best practices and adapt them to meet the needs of multicultural classrooms. Rather than following a single method, I thoughtfully select and combine approaches that best support children’s academic progress, confidence, and overall development.

Alongside academic learning, I place strong emphasis on children’s wellbeing. I have introduced dedicated wellbeing sessions that focus on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and self-care. Through age-appropriate activities such as mindfulness, gentle yoga, breathing exercises, and self-massage, children learn essential skills that help them understand their emotions, develop resilience, and feel secure in themselves.

My aim is to educate the whole child by supporting intellectual growth while nurturing emotional wellbeing. By combining Montessori principles, structured teaching methods, international experience, and a strong focus on wellbeing, I strive to create a learning environment where children feel valued and empowered to grow to their fullest potential.
